My husband and I are Primary School teachers. We are in our early 50's and have 2 daughters aged 19 & 22. Our lifestyle on the coast is very relaxed, and with lovely mild weather our pristine beaches are accessible all year round. After travelling a lot when younger, we would love for our girls to experience life by visiting different people and places. Our family life is based around the expectations that we respect ourselves, each other and the environment around us.

We built our house in 2001, and have slowly added more features. A saltwater swimming pool and spa sits next to a big, covered area. We have a large entertaining area downstairs that spills out towards the swimming pool. Upstairs we have a large open-plan dining, kitchen and living area, with a verandah that gives a glimpse of the nearby ocean. Our large side yard is fully fenced.

This is only a short list, but other places to visit just as close by are Mooloolaba (beach community with shopping, playgrounds), and Maleny/Mapleton are our mountain hinterland communities. They have great food and wine trails too.
Our town of Caloundra is a clean, friendly, happy, little place, with great community celebrations during Christmas and New Years Eve. It is very user friendly for young families. We are the holiday destination for a lot of people who live in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne over the Christmas break.

Keiran & Sean's house is perfectly located walking distance from Dicky Beach. The house has a good breeze on the upper deck which flows out from the modern kitchen. The main bedroom has aircon which was great for the aussie summer (we stayed for a month in Jan). We had a very positive experience with Keiran & Sean and their daughters. We even had a coffee with them on their return from our home in France to chat about our swaps. They had great communication before, during and following the swap. I would highly recommend Keiran & her family for this experience as the family, house and location were all great! They also had a great time in our place, so overall it was a positive experience for our two families.
