We are a professional couple, semi-retired, who take pride in our home. I'm a retired teacher and presently a part-time counsellor/supervisor and my husband is a retired teacher and now part-time gardener. We love going to visit family and friends and having holidays in our families areas. This coming year we hope to go to Australia or Central Otago for a house swop. My husband is good with animals and I'm good with the house. We enjoy beaches, bush walks, swims, cafes and exploring new areas. You'll love our house and area as it's close to 4 gorgeous Auckland beaches and only 5mins drive to CBD.

Our home is a modern townhouse which is easy to manage. We have 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms,(one ensuite) and a separate toilet. Small outdoor living. Five mins to 3 lovely beaches and 10 mins drive to CBD. Great cafes and restaurants close by. Just a quiet, lovely area to rest at home in but great spot re entertainment, outings. All you need to enjoy a relaxed holiday.

Joan and Dermot were very easy to communicate with before, during and after our swap. They even made their first Facetime call to us. For a fortnight we enjoyed their delightful home which was spacious, private and sunny. The location was excellent for local trips as well as for making day trips. We were pleased they had requested a car swap too. We looked after their home and car as they did with our home and car. Unfortunately our plan to met up at the end didn't happen but we would be happy to meet them again if they decide to return to Australia.
