We are a family of 6, however our children (4 of them) have all grown up and moved on. My wife and I are both retired and now enjoy spending our leisure time travelling and pursing our hobbies. We sometimes travel with another couple.

About our House: Our house is situated in a leafy, quiet neighbourhood, close to the city and public transport (bus, tram and freeway). By car, it takes approximately 15 min to get into the city.

We have lived at our current address for over 30 years. It has been the family home, but now all our children have grown up and moved on. There are 1 queensized bedroom a twin room and one single bed in the 3rd bedroom. The fourth bedroom has now been turned into a study, which houses the computer - and has broadband internet.
The other rooms include a family room with TV, video and DVD player, a large lounge/dinning room for entertaining guests, modern kitchen with gas facilities, separate laundry and two bathrooms.

We pride ourselves on our garden and out the back, we have built an entertainment area where we can enjoy having guests and friends over. It's like the home away from home.

North Balwyn is close to the "trendy" Brunswick street (Fitzroy), "Italian" Lygon Street (Carlton) and "Vietnamese" Victoria Street (Collingwood). There are great areas to explore and also offer an array of interesting restaurants and bars.
If you are interested in quiter activites, we are close to Studley Park Boat House, Collingwood Children's farm and Heidi Gallery.
If you enjoy sport and recreational activities, there is a a public golf course, cycling tracks and tennis courts approximately 5 mins walk away.
