Hi there!

We are a family of four and have 2 boys aged 9 and 11. We live in a quiet street in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and our house backs onto the Merri Ck parklands and bike path. We are 7kms from the CBD.
We love camping, bike riding, beach holidays as well as exploring different cities and countrysides.

We have previously done house swaps with friends and we would show the same respect and care for your house, garden and belongings that we would expect from people sharing our house. We have two cats called Blackie and Coco.

About our House: Our house is a renovated, 2 storey Californian Bungalow style house.

Downstairs- Main bedroom with bay window and ensuite. Second bedroom with 2 single beds.
Third room which we use as a play room/music room. Main bathroom with a bath as well as shower. Kitchen/dining/living area that opens out onto decking with outdoor dining area and BBQ.
Grassed and a paved area with trampoline and basketball ring.

Upstairs- There are 2 rooms of which 1 is available to be used. Has a beautiful aspect overlooking the trees of the park. Has a double bed. Upstairs bathroom also.

Evaporative cooling as well as ceiling fans in the living area and the upstairs bedroom.
Ducted heating as well as a coonarra style furnace which is very cosy in winter.

Our house backs onto the Merri Creek parklands with playgrounds, ovals and bike paths.
Ceres Environmental Park is a 10 min walk away and The Westgarth Cinema 15mins.

Northcote has great cafes, restaurants and shops as do the nearby suburbs of Brunswick, Clifton Hill and Carlton.

We are 7kms north from the Melbourne GPO and have ready access to trams and trains to take you to the Museum or a 20 min ride into the city to Fed. Square, the Art Gallery and Southbank along the river.
