John and I (Elizabeth) are in our 50's and we are now starting to become freed up from our parental role.

Our 2 children / young adults are now independent and have started their own lives.

This is an exiting time for us as we are hoping to embrace a new lifestyle of choice and freedom.

The Manly Apartment is our second home however sometimes it is rented out. Please check with us in the first instance for availability.

We prefer Non Simultaneous exchanges, as we may not be able to get away at the same time as you have indicated especially if your request is at short notice.

We are booked up already for 2012. Sorry.

Please note: We are really interested in visiting City Locations or large Towns with close access to Public Transport and Sight Seeing attractions.

Isolated Country locations and Mountain Ranges do not appeal to us. Sorry.

Apartment is in a 8 storey high rise and 200 meters from the Centre of Manly.

The Manly Ferry is 500 meters away for your trips to Sydney CBD, The Rocks area, The Opera House and the Botanical Gardens.

The Lounge Dining area has plenty of room with dining table and 6 chairs and 2 x sofa couches.

Large LCD T.V. with Foxtel Cable, DVD, VCR, Stereo, Radio.

Fully equipped Kitchen with Dishwasher, Electric Oven, Gas Cook Top, Large Fridge, Coffee Maker, Microwave, China, Cutlery, Glassware etc.

The Computer Shop ( there are 2) is 1 minute away or 3 minutes away and are open for long hours during the day. The hourly rate is about AUD $3.00 per hour.

Manly Ferry is close by at 500 meters for trips to Circular Quay en-route to the CBD, The Sydney Opera House, The Botanical Gardens, The Rocks area or to take a train to The Blue Mountains etc.
Scenic North Head at Manly and the Quarantine Station Tour is a must visit.

The Surf Beach is close at 100 meters and the Promenade from Shelly Beach to Queenscliff Beach around the waters edge.

Shelly Beach is 750 meters walk away en-route past Cafe's and the Coastal Walk around Manly.

There are several Golf Courses in close proximity - Manly Golf Club, Balgowlah Golf Club, Warringah Golf Club etc.

At the Manly Wharf there is Para-Gliding, Jet Skiing, Fishing, Scuba Diving etc and Jet Boat to Watson's Bay in the Eastern Suburbs.

The Manly Art Gallery, The Manly Cinema, The Manly Aquarium all within a short walk on flat terrain. The Manly Tennis Centre is 250 metrs away. There are several Internet Cafe's which are close and available from 8am till 12 midnight and cost are very competative around AUD $3.00 per hour.
