Hi - we are James, 51, and Kimberlee, 42, and Luke, 18, local tradesman in the building industry, massage practitioner / teacher, and Year 12 graduate (Gap Year).
We live in a beautiful modern 4 year old, 4 bedroom home that we have landscaped ourselves, in a hidden gem of a town called Peregian Beach, between Coolum and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.
We are open to suggestions for weekends away within a couple hours drive. Luke may not always be traveling with us. We enjoyed our first house swap experience in 2010 and look forward to more in the future.
Kimberlee is teaching overseas in July / August 2012 and James would love a house swap in Margaret River for a couple of weeks during this time. Prevelly / Gnarabup for a couple of weeks would be fantastic - and Noosa in the winter is absolutely stunning.
Please email if this is something you would be interested in.

About our House: Immaculate, modern, rendered brick and tile home with hinterland views, ducted air-con, gas cooktop, polished timber decks on all sides, lush garden, a timber outdoor setting for 8 looking onto a restful water feature and Weber Q (cross between a Weber and a BBQ - superb). Sound peaceful? It is. We've put a lot of love into this home, so we expect anyone who stays to treat it with the same respect (which we will also give to your home). It is a ten minute walk to stunning Peregian Beach, which is patrolled in holiday season, and close to local shops and cafes. Our street has plenty of tall gum trees, happy birdlife, and friendly neighbours. Oh, and there's a spa bath in the main ensuite and a far infrared sauna on the back deck.
Where to begin? Peregian beach is a good surfing beach, there are plenty of local bike and walking tracks. If you are a coffee connoisseur (like us) you can either make a great one at home or partake of the many excellent cafes in Peregian, Sunshine Beach, Noosa and Noosaville. Fantastic local restaurants cater for all tastes, the Noosa National Park is great for jogging / swimming / snorkeling / walking and occasional whale/dolphin/koala spotting. Hasting St in Noosa has many shopping opportunities, and for day or weekend trips you can consider Harvey Bay, Rainbow Beach, Fraser Island or the hinterland towns of Maleny, Montville, Mapleton and many other unique towns like Eumundi, where you will find the Eumundi Markets. Noosa Farmers Market is on every weekend, Peregian Markets are twice a month. You can go canoeing, horse-riding, stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, skydiving - even get a great massage - all within a ten minute drive. Australia Zoo is popular, and Underwater World at Mooloolabah is worth a look as well.
