We are a family of 3 keen to explore new places. Our 5 year old son has just started school this year, so we are a little limited (but not completely) to school holidays.

About our House: Our home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (main with ensuite), a library, study, two outdoor entertainment areas, a large open plan living/kitchen/dining area, swimming pool (with lap pool) and a cinema. Our block is 1.5 acres and is in a beautiful, quiet and leafy location. Our yard has a cubby house, sandpit and lots of other toys/bikes for children to play with. We are surrounded by native bush and have many resident possums, kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets, galahs, rosellas, magpies, butcher birds, cockatoos, sugar gliders and the occasional wallaby. Koalas are around somewhere (we often smell them!) but we haven't managed to spot one yet.

We live on a beautiful, quiet acreage in Redland Bay, which is 20 mins drive from Brisbane City. We are 10-15 mins drive from the beautiful bay beaches (great swimming and fishing), including easy, day-trip access to Stradbroke Island, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast (including Australia Zoo), Dreamworld, Seaworld, Movie World and Wet n Wild. Brisbane is a fantastic base for visiting other parts of Australia as well - approximately 1 hour flight to Sydney, Melbourne and Cairns... and it's only a 3 hour flight to New Zealand.
