About our House: Our home is in a quiet street in a good suburb of Brisbane south. We have lived here since we got married 8 years ago, and have close friendships with several of our neighbours. The street has a neighbourhood party once or twice a year, and so everyone is very friendly. It is a brown brick and tile, 80's era home on the outside, and modern inside. We have tiles throughout, and carpet in all bedrooms. I often walk to one of the two major shopping centres nearbye which takes about 30 minutes each. Both have many cafe's, restaurants, and cinemas. One is very well known for its Asian shops, grocers, and restaurants. Our back yard backs onto council parkland which is very quiet but frequented each afternoon by people with their dogs. It is great to be able to watch the kids run and kick the ball around from the kitchen or eat our meals on the back patio. My husband also takes his remote control car and helicopter out there. Our driveway is steep but short so we can still see the street and our neighbours from the front door, but would not be suitable for people with disabilities, wheelchairs or the elderly. We have a cubby and sandpit out back and the front garden looks after itself.
