Type: Duplex, Bathrooms: 1, Bedrooms: 2/3, Sleeps: 4-6
About our Duplex: Cosy duplex situated in Newport on Sydney's northern beaches. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 suitable for young children, plus an extra room with a bed settee if needed (so could sleep up 6 people). Open plan living and dining with recently renovated kitchen. Large, shaded deck and enclosed, child friendly garden with trampoline.
Situated on a quiet suburban street within easy walking distance of beach, cafes and restaurants. Bus stop nearby with regular express buses that can have you in central Sydney in 1 hour.
Beautiful ocean beaches, great swimming and surfing for those who like the waves, plus the enclosed waters of Pittwater, offering endless opportunities for sailing, boating, kayaking and just about anything else you can do on the water. Palm Beach (of Home and Away fame) is a short drive away (a walk up to the lighthouse is a must) as is the lovely beachside town of Avalon.
Kuring Gai National Park is on the doorstep with some great bushwalking, Aboriginal engravings, picnic areas and spectacular views of Pittwater.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities nearby from small boutiques to the impressive Warringah Mall.
Loads of cafes and restaurants nearby to suit every taste. The Newport Arms Hotel is 10 minute walk away and has a great beer garden that is kid friendly and serves good food. If you like things a bit more upmarket it also has a very good restaurant upstairs. A fantastic place to go for a beer or a meal and watch the sunset over Pittwater.
