We are a family of four who love the outdoor life. Mum is a small business owner (UK born) and Dad is a graphic designer and art teacher (Kiwi). We have a 7yr old girl and 4yr old boy, both of whom are very well behaved and respectful of our home and other people's too (they are both at a Montessori school, which places a great emphasis on care and respect for all things).

About our House: Our 3 Bedroom Townhouse has a great garden with a gate that leads to a reserve and is a short distance from the best of the Northern Beaches.

Our kids share a room, so there are two child sized beds in their room, a queen bed in the master (which has an ensuite) and we can put a bed into the spare room (which we use as a home office most of the time). The granite kitchen, carpets and paintwork are all less than 3yrs old (but we're not precious about any of it, we have two children after all!) Both the kitchen and the loungeroom open directly to the garden via large sliding glass doors. The garden has plenty of kids outdoor toys, including a cubby house and a trampoline. We have a private off-road car space and, with bushland out the back and no adjoining walls, the place is very quiet and tranquil (I've never lived anywhere with so much birdsong!)

Family friendly Clontarf beach is just 5mins drive, Manly beach is 10mins away, beautiful Manly Dam (kids love feeding the ducks and swimming here) is only 5 mins up the road. We are surrounded by parks, reserves and national parks (Garigal, Manly Dam) with easy walking tracks. We spend a lot of time riding along the cycle track at the back of the house, which takes you along a creek, past the local golf course and most of the way into Manly. Sydney CBD is just 15 mins away from Manly by fast ferry or 20-30 mins by car. Taronga zoo is about 15 mins away in nearby Mosman and we're within 30 mins drive of all Sydney's famous surf beaches including Narrabeen, Mona Vale and 10 mins from Manly which has the famous ferry, aquarium, surf schools, outdoor pool, art gallery, cinema, fantastic cafes and more.

We have two de-sexed and vaccinated black and white cats (one very friendly and the other a bit nervous, but neither have ever scratched any of us, despite severe, if unintentional, provocation at times!)
