Location: Beach/Coastal, Bush/Forest - We live in the Noosa Hinterland in a rainforest setting with views to the ocean. Situated half way between the beach and river at Noosa and the beautiful hinterland town of Eumundi, famous for its markets, the house is in a peaceful, secluded location..

We are a family of four with two lovely girls aged 10 and 8. We own an independent book shop in Noosa and have recently sold other book shops on the Sunshine Coast, to enable us to slow down a little and enjoy the fabulous quality of the life on offer here. Completed our first two hugely successful swaps to NZ in January and March 2011 and have just returned form another hugely successful swap to Hobart (Jan 2012). More planned for April and September 2012...

About our House: The house is a single storey, resort-style house set on a ridge line in a quiet cul de sac, with views to the ocean, on one and a half acres. 5 years old, the mature gardens feature a solar heated pool, gazebo with day bed, sun loungers and hammock. Outdoor undercover seating and barbeque areas ensure there's somewhere to go to escape the heat of the day.
Other features include ensuites to 2 bedrooms and a "jack and Jill" bathroom to the other two bedrooms. There are 3 reception rooms, two with flat screen Tvs, satelite TV and Wii, and the house is fully air conditioned. In addition there is a kids study,complete with computers and internet access, a large home office and parking for 6 cars.
We have a 7 seat BMW 4WD and a 7 seat Toyota 4WD and would be prepared to discuss swapping either or both.
We also have bikes in the garage for both adults and kids, boogie boards to play in the waves and a trampoline in the garden.

The beautiful Noosa river (our favourite place) with restaurants, cafes, sandy beaches and safe swimming for the kids, is a 10 minute drive. Noosa main beach and Hastings Street is 5 minutes more, as is the main cinema complex (and fabulous local book shop!). The markets at Eumundi are 6 minutes away.

Two cocker spaniels, plus small tropical fish tank and fish in outdoor water features.
