We are a teacher and a retired teacher, both non-smokers and keen gardeners. We have lived here for 21 years and just love it - our grown up children wouldn't let us leave even if we wanted to! We have a beautiful house to swap Easter 2012.... try us. Sorry, house is not available for the 2012 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

About our House: Our beautiful home has 1 double, and 2 queen rooms as well as two single rooms and a trundle. It is spacious and quietly luxurious. You can sit in the loungeroom and watch the sun set over the hills, or relax on the terrace with some friends and a glass of local wine, while you plan the next day's adventure. The garden has plenty of places to wander or just to sit and read. We have a watering system, but some hand watering, mainly of pots, will be needed.

Our home is in a quite street, a short walk to local shopping village with tavern, IGA, butcher, chemist etc. Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre is 5 min drive away, as is the Equine Centre, and a 10 min drive takes you to the town centre.
Our city has a heritage of country and other music, culture, and sport and is surrounded by beautiful rural countryside. Scenic drives abound, and there are dams, rivers, hills, mountains, lookouts and National Parks within an hour or two.
