We are a professional couple in late 50's. Teachers, musicians, neat and tidy, lovers of bike riding and also keen on being part of a local community. Our inner-west suburb of Sydney is very pleasant with a good sense of community, a wonderful mild climate even in the winter and is very close to all the attractions of the city of Sydney.

We have completed 2 long term house swaps in 2011-2012: 3 months in Herts and 5 months in Suffolk. We are wanting to swap in 2014 and are reasonably flexible with dates.

About our House: Stylish 2 story Victorian Terrace with 4 bedrooms (one used as a music room with a grand piano and the other as an upstairs sitting room. (There is a divan bed in the upstairs sitting room). The 2 bedrooms have queen sized in main room and double bed in spare room. Modern kitchen, bathroom, laundry, easy access to street. Friendly neighbours, very close to public transport. Car swap option. Walking distance to the City, Chinatown Darling Harbour, close to Black wattle Bay walks and cycle tracks. Back garden with decking and BBQ.

Trendy inner city suburb, restaurants, cafe culture, Close to Sydney University, Victoria Park pool and gym, walking to city, Harbour Bridge, Opera House, public transport: light rail, bus. 2 good quality hybrid cycles, easy trip around the harbour at Black wattle Bay.
