Family with a boy and girl aged 4 and 6 years. They are young but they are respectful,as are we, of other people's homes/belongings. We have family in Melbourne, Perth & NZ so would love to do some swaps in those cities or visit the surrounding areas. We would love some weekends in Melbourne and school holidays in Perth or Margaret River.
We love skiing / the snow, the beach, fishing. We also love to visit towns and villages where you can get great coffee, browse in lovely shops and art galleries and eat great food. A nice pub is a favourite too.

About our House: Cute, attached terrace redesigned and renovated to maximize space and light. 2 double bedrooms with built in robes: one queen size bed in Bedrm 1and a bunk of 2 singles in bedrm 2. The house comfortably sleeps 4.
The bedrooms are hard to photograph and appear tiny but they aren't. There are modern finishes and fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom (spa bath with shower over). Separate toilet in the laundry. Happy to email further photos.
The dining room seats an easy 6 but we have had 8 people around the table. The lounge room has big bi-folds so the space can be opened up to the decked courtyard with fish pond and water feature.

An extra person or two person could be accommodated in the attic/office that has a double sofa bed. Not nearly as comfy as a bed but OK for a place to sleep. This 5th person would need to be agile and not afraid of heights as the attic ladder is high!

There is a single garage that could store some gear but a car would have to be parked on the street.

We have kids toys, dvds, a playstation, a small pedal bike and trike along with two adult bikes and one baby seat.

There is a small playground directly opposite which has basic playground equipment.

It is a compact house but we fit in! Plus with everything that Sydney has to offer - who wants to stay at home all day?

Inner west of sydney, 10 mins city, 20 mins coogee/maroubra beaches or airport, 45 mins collaroy (northern beaches.)
Stanmore is a 15 min walk to Leichhardt (little Italy with cafes, restaurants, arthouse cinema and boutiques) or cosmopolitan Newtown with restaurants, bars & eclectic shops. Annandale is another lovely village style suburb that has fantastic cafes and a couple of nice boutiques.
There are many parks and playgrounds within walking distance. Stanmore village has a pub, IGA, florist, beauty room, cafes and a GP. Dining options in the village include fish & chip shop, a Thai restaurant, pizza shop and a fantastic, gourmet fish restaurant The Codfather.
Stanmore is well serviced with bus routes and a train station. Night buses ensure that you can always get home from the CBD even on nights like NYE when cabs can be hard to find.

5 y.o Burmese cat. Loves company. Our neighbour can look after her but if the house is open, she will want to spend some time at home. We have wooden floors and leather couches so hair is not an issue. Boarding can be organised
