We are a professional couple in our 40's working in the wine industry. We love the beaches of Phillip Island and get away to our holiday home whenever we can. We also love to be somewhere warm in the VIC winter and are flexible about swapping dates. We have with 2 mature teenage girls (one doing VCE the other at uni, so they may not travel with us) . We own 3 homes of our own, 2 of which we rent out, so we know how important it is to look after other properties in which we stay and will treat your home as our own.

Overseas would also be great in the Xmas holidays.

The Grape Escape is 300m from the safe, north facing Cowes beach and 900m to the main street of Cowes, which has some lovely restaurants and cafes on the street leading right to the water. From the pier, you can catch the ferry to French Island, Mornington Peninsular or take a seal watching cruise. We are just a 5 min drive from the famous Penguin Parade and Seal Centre, as well as the Grand Prix track.

There is also a great take away/corner store a few minutes walk away from our house, perfect for the morning paper and coffee! The island is quite flat so easy to cycle around and we have some bikes you can use.

We are in a quiet street, on a corner block, yet close to the beach and main st. Our homes' fully fenced back yard ensures total privacy and safety for children. Here are the other features of our fully equipped holiday house:

Just a few minutes walk leads you to the calm waters of the famous north facing Cowes Beach - perfect for long walks.

We are open to swapping in other parts of Australia in the July school holidays, especially QLD and NT. We'd also look at Xmas - late Jan. Stays can be non simultaneous, as this is a holiday rental - however we cannot offer it from Xmas until Jan 31st or for PI Sporting events (such as Grand Prix) as it is already rented out.
