Definitely open to offers. I'm a freelance writer so have a fair bit of flexibility in my schedule, however I don't usually plan too many months in advance at the moment, so probably not worth asking about swaps more than 3mths in advance.

About our Apartment / Unit: My lovely Randwick ("The Spot") apartment is available to swap.

It's on the top floor of a block of four apartments, about 15 mins walk from famous Coogee beach and only minutes from plenty of restaurants and cafes at The Spot (Randwick's eating/drinking hub).

The main bedroom has a queen size bed, and there's a single bed in the 2nd bedroom which can also become a queen (it's a daybed with proper single mattresses on it. If you open it up you can add a second single mattress to make a large bed - like a proper bed, not a sofa bed).

There's a lovely loungeroom looking onto the shared backyard; wooden floorboards throughout; a flat screen TV and DVD player; a washing machine and dryer in my external laundry (outside, but private); clean, modern bathroom with a bath/shower, and a good sized kitchen with everything you need including a dishwasher.

The whole apartment has a lovely atmosphere. It's clean, welcoming and best of all, just a stroll to Coogee beach, REALLY convenient for buses to the city or tourist points of interest (buses are just 200m away), and tons of restaurants as well as a cinema only 300m away if you feel like going in without going out.

The neighbours are lovely - we all get along well - and this is my much loved new home, so really only interested in swapping with someone who will treat the place nicely and not cause any hassles for my wonderful neighbours. Also, absolutely no smokers - I'm totally allergic so even smoke from clothes etc a bit too much for me.

Randwick is a well located suburb with the best of city and beach life. My house is on the Coogee beach end of Randwick, which means it's just a 15 min walk to one of Sydney's most popular beaches.
Lots of walks along the coast from Coogee - you can even walk to Bondi, or take the southern track for a quieter coastal stroll.
Back up at my place (the Spot, Randwick) are cafes, restaurants, bars and a great cinema within a 2 minute walk.
LOTS of buses direct into City/Circular Quay. So many buses you don't even need a timetable. Nearest bus stop 200m from my door.
