We are an English retired couple. We are keen walkers and enjoy golf and bowls. Our main hobby is travel and we we enjoy many trips in our motorhome within Europe. Our most exciting trip to date being to Croatia. We are also members of our local Wine Appreciation Club. We have already done two very successful, one month, exchanges in New Zealand and Australia.
Now looking for a 3-4 week exchange during January to March 2014 in Australia and Thailand (dates flexible). Non-simultaneous exchange and car exchange is possible.

About our House: Our home is a typical Spanish villa which is 5 years old. Built within a group of houses on a hillside overlooking the small Spanish village of Alcalali. We have three bedrooms, two lounges, a dining room, two bathrooms and a kitchen. All modern conveniences are available (dishwasher, cooker, hob, washing machine) The garden is landscaped and neat, with swimming pool and patios. The views from the house, garden and patio are fantastic.

We are situated in the Jalon Valley about one hour from the large cities of Alicante and Valencia. The valley supports oranges, lemons, grapevines, almonds and olive trees and has a thriving market town, Jalon in it's midst. Jalon, which is 5 minutes from our home, is 20 minutes inland from the coastal towns of Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia on the Costa Blanca. There are more than 10 restaurants within 10 minutes drive and numerous scenic valleys close by. The area is dotted with many small picturesque villages, and the more up-market Cost Blanca towns are within 20 minutes drive. These towns provide more sophistication and noise! There are 3 golf clubs within 15 minutes drive. Here you have the choice of either the quiet valleys or the hustle and bustle of seaside towns just 15 minutes away.
