We are almost retired, Sue is retired, Steve wishes he was (will be in 2013 sometime), who would love to exchange our well located harbourside Sydney unit for short breaks around Australia and NZ.
Planning a trip to USA in mid to late 2013 (West Coast & San Fran) would be very interested in 2-7 day swap in that area.
Considering relocating to Sunshine Coast, QLD, and would be interested in a long term swap, to help us decide if and where we would like to make a permenant move - 3 to 6 months negotiable.

About our Apartment / Unit: We have a spacious, comfortable, light filled apartment in a small block of 6 units in a quiet cul-de-sac. There is a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room, 2 double bedrooms, and a balcony. Spectacular views overlooking Sydney Harbour through Sydney Heads (see main photo from balcony) and also towards Manly and the ocean.

The kitchen, living areas, bathroom and ensuite have been recently renovated, the kitchen has quality appliances and stone benchtops.

The Lounge/Dining area is spacious. it has a 6 seater dining table and 2 comfortable leather sofas, entertainment unit with DVD, Stereo, Books, Records (yes vinyl) and CDs. computer with internet access. FM/AM radio with Ipod Dock.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, built-in robes and an en-suite shower and toilet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, wardrobe and harbour views. The main bathroom includes a bath and separate shower.

Internal Laundry with front loader washing machine, and clothes dryer. There is also an outside drying line in the garden. Air conditioner, reverse cycle for year round comfort.
Balcony with BBQ and table and chairs. Access from the main entrance is via one easy flight of stairs. Security Garage

The unit/flat is a 5 minutes easy walk to Fairlight Beach with harbour swimming pool (see picture), and a 15 minute walk to Manly Wharf along the scenic harbourside walkway. There is a regular free bus (stop is 3 min walk away) to Manly wharf and back. The free bus also goes in the opposite direction to the new shopping centre at Balgowlah (or its only a 15 min walk), with large supermarket, deli, and fresh fruit and vegetable market as well as various fashion outlets.

Manly is one of Sydneys most popular seaside destinations, full of attractions and exciting activities including cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants. There are many surf and harbour beaches; there are many walks to choose from, around Sydney Harbour National Park including the world famous Manly scenic walkway to The Spit. Other activities includes Ocean World, kayaking, swimming, tennis, golf, beach volleyball, art gallery, parasailing, scuba diving, fishing, and so much more. Annual events include the Food and Wine festival in June and Jazz Festival, October long weekend. Yatch races can be viewed from the balcony! From Manly Wharf you can catch the regular (30 min) or fast ferry (15 min) to Circular Quay in the CBD for connections to trains and buses and other ferries to explore around the harbour. Walk from Circular Quay to The Sydney Opera House, The Botanical Gardens, the Rocks and CBD shopping. At Manly Wharf is the Information Centre which provides Local and City brochures for all your Sight seeing needs.
