We are a professional couple approaching retirement. Geoff has operated a local business for 30 years and I am an ex school teacher. We have one daughter who floats in and out of home from University, otherwise we are free of family ties. We are avid golfers and travelers and are hoping to increase the amount of time we spend doing both. We have lived in Bendigo for 27 years and found it to be a great centrally located city, perfect for overseas visitors to base themselves as they explore Victoria.

About our House: Large 4 bedroom brick home. It is 2 storeyed with views of the golfcourse opposite. We have a golf cart for use by renters and a private gate for access to Bendigo Golf Club. We can also organise complimentary golf vouchers upon request.
It is a great home for entertaining with deck out by the pool. Plenty of room for cars, 3 under cover and room for at least 4 more off street.

Bendigo is an historically significant City with its roots in gold Mining. It is a beautiful place full of wonderful old buildings . Some of the highlights are The Chinese Museum, The Art Gallery, The Talking Tram which runs through the city and The Science and Discovery Centre.
Bendigo is home to a Budhist Centre. For cyclists there is a Rail trail ride to Axedale and a Linear track into Bendigo Central.
Bendigo is surrounded by some fabulous wineries which make a fantastic days outing.
It is really a place which has something for everybody... The Easter Fair is a highlight of the region with many parades and events over a two week period.

A very friendly Labrador who was trained as a guide dog. well trained and loves visitors. She may not need to be cared for by guests.
