My husband and I are retired farmers who live on a 42h small farm where we graze cows and sheep. We are very active and enjoy travelling,(just back from Brazil) nature, art, reading,music sports. As well as a farm, our property includes a native forest with a stream running through it.Our home is perfect for children with tons of space, great for bike riding( we have both big and little bikes) and outdoor games. We also have a fenced swimming pool which is very safe.Our grandchildren love the place.We also have a self contained cottage which would be suitable for grandparents who may come with your family. 15mins drive from village where there are shops and cafes or 25 minutes from Hamilton city.40 mins from the most wonderful beach in NZ.

We are keen to swap our home for a house somewhere in West Sydney as our daughter (and husband) lives there and we wish to be near her to welcome our new grandchild.

About our House: Large,modern, comfortable clean country home on one level..Three bedrooms include master with superking bed and ensuite,second bedroom with super king be,and another bedroom with three single beds.Two bathrooms in total.Large lounge includes dining area and comfortable seating with adjoining kitchen. All mod cons.The lounge flows out onto the huge deck which is great for summer activities,BBQ etc.Swimming pool can be viewed from the deck.
WiFi, DVD Large TV,Rubbish removal. No responsibility for any farm animals.Just enjoy a beautiful piece of the Waikato. We have wonderful library with a variety of genre.Happy to provide a car as well so you can enjoy the country,city, the beach and the thermal wonderland nearby.
A self contained cottage with one bedroom is also available if requirned.

Village of Cambridge(10 mins drive) has many cafes and restaurants,shops etc.Hamilton city is 25mins drive with all amenities. It is a 2hr drive from Auckland.The beatiful beaches at Mt Maunganui and Tauranga are 50minutes drive from our home. Great summer climate.

Lake Karapiro,where the 2010 World Rowing Championships were held are 5minutes drive away. Good for fishing. Many interesting bush walks are close especially Maungatautautari where native birds abound.No snakes in NZ!!!

The Waikato region is a beautiful part of NZ with Cambridge being well known for the breeding of many well known thoroughbreds.
