Professional working couple, family of 2 adults and two 8 year old girls, a dog and a cat. We are active outdoor people and non smokers.

About our House: Split Level architecturally designed early 80's full brick home with large windows for viewing, large deck/courtyard and outdoor BBQ area, and 6 acres of grassland and bush + a separate log cabin/art studio with peaceful outlook for the creative types to admire the lovely outlook and native birds such as Red breasted Robins, finches, the Swift Parrots and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos.
The house has 3 bathrooms, 2 up and 1 down, with 1 bath, large open plan kitchen (new oven & dishwasher), with cooks pantry, dining/sitting and separate TV lounge with large open fireplace (wood provided). There are 3 bedrooms upstairs; main King size bed with ensuite and 2 single rooms with own bathroom/sep toilet and a large rumpus/4th bedroom (Queen bed + 2 additional single mattresses) downstairs with shower/toilet, internal laundry and access to outside and LUG.
House very cosy in winter and cool in summer, fully carpeted and on town water supply.

Public transport (buses to town at doorstep), golf course, shopping, markets, beaches, parks, bushwalking, cafes, sailing, Diving(offshore or in Marine Reserves), Fishing, Library, Bike trails, historical sites all within a couple of km's from us. A good base for exploring on day trips such as Bruny Island, Mt Field National Park, Port Arthur, Wineglass Bay (Frecynet), Bicheno, MONA art gallery + other gallery's shops, cafes, Brewery's and historical sites such as, Cascade Brewery, Larks Distillery, Museum and Salamanca/Docklands and Hobart city only 10 minutes by car or 20 mins coastal bus trip along the Derwent River. Plenty to do and see and of course an excellent spot to watch the Sydney to Hobart Race as the Yaughts come up the river to the finish line!
Chanel (Nelly) a small burmese cat she loves laps and cuddles, 8yrs she is indoor mostly but goes out sometimes for a little wonder around the garden. Lucy 3yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback (outside dog) she is playful and loves company and a gentle nature
