We are a young married couple with two boys aged 3 and 1 . I am a school teacher and my husband is a pre-press editor for the Herald. We have travelled the world extensively but are now hoping to travel interstate, particularly to Tasmaina. We are open to offers from other states and countries. We would be interested in travelling during the upcoming school holiday periods of 2012 but are due long service leave so are very flexible. We are an easy-going couple who would love to make contact with like-minded people. We would endeavour to care for your home as we do our own !

About our House: Our home is a lovely 1950's renovated brick house situated in the leafy suburb of Pascoe Vale. It has 3 bedrooms and a study which can be used as a 4th bedroom. ( fold-out couch ). It is 11 kilometres from the city and public transport is plentiful. ( there is a bus-stop 15 metres from our front door. ) The main living area of the house is open plan and the kitchen is modern with all the necessary appliances. The main bedroom features a king size bed and the 3rd bedroom a double bed. The children's room has a cot which can be turned into a toddler bed if needed. The backyard has a lawn area for play, a new cubby/playhouse and there is also a covered area with outdoor setting and BBQ for entertaining on summer nights.. The bathroom has a spa bath and there are 2 toilets.
We also have a new black Honda CRV that we would be happy to offer if another party was interested in a car swap with their home.

Pascoe Vale is a lovely suburb that features many parks and recreational areas. It is only 5 minutes from Coburg Lake, Merri Creek and a 10 minute drive from Melbourne Airport. There are many cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area and the city is only 11 kms away. ( 20 mins by train ) There is a bus-stop outside our front door and trains and trams are only a short walk away. It's a 5 minute drive to the famous Sydney Road shopping precinct and a 15 minute drive to Lygon Street ( known for its Italian restaurants and shopping ) and the very funky Brunswick Street. ( clubs, bars, cafes, restaurants. ) There are also local pools and a golf course 5 minutes up the road. The city offers many brilliant attractions including The Melbourne Aquarium, Federation Square, The Arts Cenre, Yarra River cruises etc... Melbourne really is a beautiful city to visit !
