Currently we are looking to swap houses with someone in Darwin while my partner has five days of training work for DCS. End of July to end of August is the ideal travel timeframe and 7-10 days is optimal.

We are a family of four with a 5yr old son and 2yr old daughter. My partner is a psychologist/executive director and i am a homemaker/ previously speech pathologist. We would love to explore Australia more, coming from New Zealand, and are keen travellers locally and overseas.

About our House: Post war brick home looking out at Carss park Football Club and lush green grass. 3 beds, separate dining and separate lounge. Front patio lovely in winter months and sheltered from the wind, fully fenced, flat yard and play swings, climbing frame and play house for children. Outside toilet and external laundry on lower level and converted garage into a rumpus room with a new queen bed and expectional play area for children or a private sanctuary for second couple. Slowly renovating, the house has new paint, polished floors and new carpet in the bedrooms. Definitely original bathroom and kitchen but surprisingly highly functional and very well kept. Sadly, no dishwasher but those were the days! Separate bath and shower. Insect screens on windows in all rooms.
Some herbs, veges to water on occasion by the front door. New barbecue outside/rotisserie and sideburner. We are superbly located only ten minutes from the airport!
