We are a family of 5 with a 6yr old, a 7yr old and a new baby. Mike is English and I'm a kiwi but we've lived here on the northern beaches for 12 years. Non smokers, fit and healthy, we enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and make the most of the beautiful beaches and parks on offer around where we live. We'd like to swap to south west England (pref near Bath) for your summer 2012.
About our House: North facing, our house is a light and bright one story 1920's californian bungalow with high pressed ceilings and period features. It is a very easy house to be in with lovely indoor/outdoor entertaining area flowing from the kitchen. We have a large springfree trampoline and deck out the front of the house and a garden with swing/climbing rope ladder and a cubby house out the back. The garden has gates to shut to keep little ones completely contained. The garden is private and quiet and full of birds and beautiful trees and plants. We have a large BBQ plugged into the gas mains for long lazy meals outside. The main bedroom (queen bed) has a sunroom attached. The second bedroom has bunkbeds and the third bedroom (with ensuite) has a single bed with trundle bed underneath.

Famous Manly beach is an easy walk down the hill as is the iconic ferry ride into the city. Fairlight beach is over the hill. Many other beaches are a short drive or bike ride away. A free bus service runs from the end of the road every half hour going to Manly or the brand new local shopping centre. Olympic swimming pool centre 5 minute walk away and great children's playground at the end of the road opposite Manly Golf club. Bush walking and picnic areas at Manly dam. Excellent restaurants and cafes a walk away either in Manly or Balgowlah.
