Hello, 55 yr old couple looking for a house sit, not swap, from April or so 2012 - minimum 6 months in Singleton. Please see our profile on the aussie house sitters site. HeatherandDavid. We are renting so don't have a house to swap, but have done previous house sits and have good references and thought maybe someone with a house in the Singleton area may need to go away and not be able to find a swap. So if you need someone to lovingly mind your house and pets while you are away please consider us. We need a minimum of 6 months because we would be giving up our rental house and would need to find another one, or a follow on sit, when you come back, and for less than 6 months its not worth it. Rental properties in Singleton are hard to get. We have our own house in Albury on the Victorian border and we are trying to reduce the mortgage on that, so housesitting is wonderful for that, rather than renting. Ph 02 65715257, 0417661552.
