We are a family of 4 with two children - a daughter aged 4 and a son aged nearly 2. Ben runs his own business providing sustainability consulting to major businesses,l Isabel is currently at home with the children. We are active in the local comminty (Steiner Kinder, Community Garden, Farmers Markets etc). We enjoy the city life, but try to get out into the nature every weekend and during holiday times. We would love to find a house swap in a natural environment.

About our House: We have a cosy house with 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen/diner, large second living room open to the garden (great during summer months), and laundry. We have a bathroom with shower over bath. The toilet is located off the second living room. We have a good collection of books, toys, and DVD's

We are slowly simplifying our life so we have got rid of the dishwasher and microwave. (We do not miss either.) We also have no TV, but can make one made available if it is important to you. We have full wireless internet access - but would prefer you to provide your own computer.

We have a large kids friendly garden (sandpit, hammock, play areas) with heaps of vegetables and fruit trees, BBQ, outdoor setting etc - very unusual this close in to the centre of Melbourne and great for relaxing in.

There are many local attractions. We have great access to public transport - train and trams. we are close to St Kilda (Acland St, Luna Park, Beaches etc), close to Chapel Street (best shopping in Australia), and close to many great foodie areas. We are also close to Princess Highway which gives you access to the Mornington Peninsula, Great Ocean Road, and other parts of Victoria.
