We are Helen and Alex. Helen is an accountant in her own practice. Alex is an attempted retiree now assisting in the practice.( last employment at Bunnings)
We are active seniors with a love for dancing, playing cards(bridge) and attending live shows and opera. We also like to travel.
Children and grandchildren live interstate in Victoria.
We are both non smokers and would appreciate the same courtesy in our apartment.

About our Apartment / Unit: The apartment is of the older style but clean and comfortable without being grandiose, located on the first floor of a two storey building. Access is by a staircase. There are 2 bedrooms with enclosed balconies, a lounge/dining room,kitchen and bathroom with toilet. Laundry is adjacent to the apartment entrance door.
The building faces a main road but the bedrooms are insulated from the traffic noise by the enclosed balconies.

Bondi Junction is in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and a 25min walk or 10min bus trip to the famous Bondi Beach and it's cafe's.
We are a 2min walk to the large Wesfield shopping centre with it's many shops, eating places and movie cinemas. Adjacent to the Mall there are regular organic vegetables, fruit and food stalls.
The train station is located off the mall with regular trains into the city (10mins) and access to the other suburbs. ($2.50 for an all day pass for seniors. train,bus and ferry.)
In the city you can go shopping, to the theatres, the Opera House, the "Rocks", to Darling Harbour with its restuarants and many other attractions or the Star City Casino.
Catch a Ferry to the many Beaches or to Taronga Park Zoo or Luna Park.
The famous Blue Mountains are within easy reach. A 90min trip by train.
