Location: Town/Village - Tiptree is a large village/small town with a population of about 10,000. Our house is about half a mile outside in a semi rural position. We are about 10 miles from the coast but can't say it competes well with the WA beaches. Typical east anglian coastl.

We are a retired couple in our early sixties. we have two married sons living in the Perth metropolitan area. My wifes sister and brother in law are living in Toodyay. We have been visiting our family in WA for over 20 years but having recently retired we are planning to spend longer on each visit, hence our interest in a house swap arrangement.

About our House: We have a modern four bedroom bungalow (single story dwelling) in a rural location in Essex, England but with relatively easy reach of railway connection to London (45 mins). The grounds extend to four acres largely laid to horse paddocks.

LCD TV's in most rooms.

Tiptree has a famous Jam Factory - Wilkin & Sons with an attached museum. You can check it out on their website.
