Profile: Single-Over-50 - Completed House Swaps: 1
Hi, I am a responsible and trustworthy single female of clean and tidy habits. I have had a successful tenancy with an Aussie House Swap couple in Queensland for 6 months in 2012 which was an amazing experience. I don't have any annual leave left at the moment after my 6 month stint so I can only offer Christmas and Easter swaps at this stage until I build up another supply! (apologies to all those who have already inquired prior to my profile update).
I have excellent personal and professional references, and I am a non-smoker. I would not like people to smoke in my home, thank you.
I also have a cat which would need a daily feed please :-)

About our House: Brick and double storey in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Ideally located on the North West Coast of Tasmania which is a scenic farming area with rich grounds producing high quality crops. The milk for Cadbury chocolate comes from here!
The house has a modern kitchen with dishwasher, there is a double garage with remote controlled doors, a separate garden shed and many extras.
A reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioner is economical and efficient.
P.S. The Whereis map is a bit inaccurate - The property is a coastal one best 'Googled'!
Hellyers Road distillery (whiskey), Makers Workshop, Pioneer Village Museum, Great Lakes (trout fishing), Cradle Mountain, bushwalking/hiking, Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens (world class), a regular stop for Cruise ships, many local markets, crafts, TARGA Tasmania, Burnie 10, Burnie Shines festival (a month-long multiple arts event in October each year); most sports catered for, Bowls Club witin a short walking distance (5 minutes); TARKINE wilderness and other World Heritage listed attractions are all very accessible. It's only 3.5 hours drive to Hobart the capital.
