We are a compact family of 2. I'm 50 and have a 10 year old daughter. I work remotely for a government department so am very flexible. My daughter attends a local college. We'll consider all swaps be they domestic during school holidays, or longer either here or overseas. I'd like to introduce my daughter to other nationalities/cultures or even another region of Australia. We love animals so will happily take care of yours. Non-smoker and would appreciate the same.

About our House: A brand new 4 bedroom home plus an office, media room, separate lounge and kids' activity room with DVDs, Wii games, etc.. Full security system and Wireless internet. Camry (5 seater) available for swap.

Our home is in the Redland suburb of Birkdale, which is a short drive to the east of Brisbane City.
The water is only a 5-10 minute drive away and there are many beachside picnic spots nearby. We are about a 20 minute drive from Brisbane Airport and only 30 minutes drive to Brisbane City.

The Gold and Sunshine coasts are also easily accessible and are both approximately 45 minutes drive either way. Local attractions such as Dreamworld, Movieworld, Seaworld, etc are all on the way to the Gold Coast and only about 35 mins away. Local shopping centres are a nearby 5 minutes drive and we're close to public transport too should you need it.

It will only be myself and my 10 year old daughter for a swap. I work remotely from home for the government, my daughter attends a local college in the Redlands but I'm willing to take her out and home school for a while if the house swap permits.

We're open to any location and will consider international for MT or longer. Shorter term might have to coincide with school holidays, but we're very flexible.

Redlands area is on Brisbane's bayside, a picturesque area with many beaches and parklands. Handy to Brisbane, the airport, Stradbroke and Tangalooma Islands, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and their hinterland areas. A short drive to theme parks. Every other amenity that most other cities have.
