Location: Beach/Coastal, City/Suburbs - Our house in Spain is located in a private community with pools and tennis courts in the unspoiled fishing village of La Herradura. Each room has sweeping views of the Mediterranean sea. You are about 3 minutes drive to the center of the town and the be.

We are an Aussie family of four (boy 2, and girl 1) living in Mosman, NSW. My husband is a GM in a haircare company and I am a graphic designer. We have a house in the Costa Del Sol in Spain that we'd like to offer on swap. We'd love to see different parts of Australia in exchange for our house over there that we (sadly) don't get to use as much as we'd like to. Since this site only allows one listing per family, we haven't put our Mosman home up though we're opening to doing a swap with that house too. (just ask for details and pics)

We're interested in just about anything that is family oriented, be it beach, mountains, farms. We're a flexible and conscientious bunch and having rented our homes before, we like to think that we are respectful of others' property when we're guests at their homes.

About our House: The house is 2 floors with all rooms facing out onto the Med. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds, and the other with a queen. They share a full bath.
The master bedroom has an en suite and connects out to the patio.
The kitchen is a foodies dream- top of the line appliances( all smeg) and completely outfitted with everything you need to put together a fantastic dinner after shopping at the markets. The decor is modern and we have tried to make it as comfortable as your own home, down to the details.

La Herradura, the town where the house is, is a pretty special spot because though the town is really unspoiled and truly authentic - free tapas and all, but its still very close to dozens of attractions in the vacation hot-spot of the Costa del Sol.
To name a few:
-Award-winning golf course in the neighbouring town of Nerja
-Water parks (Almunecar)
-Horseback riding
-Scuba diving/ snorkelling
-Kite surfing, sailing, fishing
- Aquarium in Almunecar, and a zoo in the mountians behind the house ( google Pena Escrita)
-Bushwalks ( right from the house) through nationally protected land
- Daytrips through the 'White Villages" of Las Alpujjaras (listed in the book "1000 places to see")
- Daytrips to the old town in Granada and "La Alhambra"
- Historical places of interest- there are numerous Arabic

There are so many restaurants and bars that you will have your pick from day to day, and even more to choose from in the neighboring town of Almunecar.
