Profile: Couple-Retired - Completed House Swaps: 1
We are retired teachers who love to travel and have visited many countries and parts of Australia. We are in our late 50s and are free to travel at any time. We will take care of your home as if it was our own and will leave it as we found it and would hope that you will do the same for our home.
We would like a non simultaneous swap for an apartment in Paris from 30th May to 6th 2013.
Type: House (and unit), Bathrooms: 2, Bedrooms: 2, Sleeps: 4
About our House: Our home is a 6 year old, modern, single level brick house with a double garage and gym. It has two bedrooms for your use - the main with a king bed and ensuite, the second with a queen bed. There is a large outdoor entertainment area with a bbq for your use. There is a second outdoor seating area for two, viewing the fernery. It has a lounge/media room with a 46" television and blue ray player as well as a second sitting area with 22" television. There is a separate dining area as well as a breakfast bar. The laundry has a front loading machine and separate dryer. At the end of our street there is a waterbird habitat which is lovely for walking either first thing in the morning or for an evening stroll. Great neighbours and a safe neighbourhood complete the picture.
Toowoomba is a city of 100,000 people and as such has all the facilities you would expect of a larger inland city. It is the educational and shopping centre for the Darling Downs agricultural area with many smaller towns within an hour's drive. It is only 1.5 hours drive from Brisbane, 1.5 hours to the fabulous Gold Coast and 2 hours to the Sunshine Coast.
There are many great day trips out of Toowoomba:
