About our House: Large brick home L - shaped with 2 car garage
Very private, no steps other than 3 half at the entrance.Air conditioned with over head fans in all rooms
Back deck with commanding views towards Byron Bay ,the moutains and Bangalow
No pets other than the wild parrots that feed off our bird feeders and grevillias
Private enclosed front patio area where once a pool lay but now a pool shaped lawn and vegetable garden with b/q now exist in harmony.

Large country town very cosmopolitan due to it's art and music. Also a University town - Southern Cross uni. Nestles on 2 rivers the Wilson and Richmond so is prone to flooding every so many years. There now is a levvy bank that protects the town centre but as we live up high we are not directly affected by this.
Known as the Macadamia capital of Ausrtalia and a centre for large varieties of tropical fruits and vegetables. Organic farming a big concern here
An area where the mountains meet the sea with such towns as Nimbin, Kyogle, Bangalow , Ballina Byron Bay and Evans Head all within 45 mins drive. Airports in Lismore, Ballina and the Gold coast with bus transfers available
A sub tropical climate with some humidity only in the months of Jan, and Feb.
