We are a happily married couple, who recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We have 5 adult children, & 9 grandchildren. Les is employed full tme as a project manager for a Central Otago irrigation company, while I work part time as a field interviewer for a government organisation. We have farming backgrounds both in sheep & beef & dairy farming. I have also a backgrond in retail & picture framing.

We have a genuine love of people & enjoy travelling often, & look foward to the opportunity to explore new places.

We treasure our home in Central Otago, & would care for your home as if it were our own. We have previous experience house sitting & can supply both character & exchange referees.

About our House: Our home is situated in a quiet cul-d-sac, nestled against a generous tree lined greenway, which allows for safe, walking, jogging, cycling, strollers & scooters etc. These greenways are a feature of our small town & are very family friendly.

Our home is naturally warm, & catches all day sun. We do have air conditioning, although seldom need to use it, due to well appointed windows & doors & the resulting natural air flow. For the winter months we have a log burner, which helps heat our large 180m2 home. The home is fully carpeted.

We have 4 bedrooms, 3 double & 1 single. 2 of the double bedrooms have queen sized beds, the 3rd has two single beds. The fourth bedroom is set up as an office, although has a cot nestled into one corner.

The lounge & dining rooms are open plan & adjoin a well appointed kitchen. The dining room opens out onto a cobbled courtyard, & features a built in barbeque, with a servery. We have installed a shade sail & outdoor furniture completes the setting.

We have a well established garden, with mature trees lining the side & back boundaries. Ample grassed area creates a relaxed setting. The garage is joined to the house & there is ample off street & on street parking.

Cental Otago is New Zealand's most inland region, also the hottest, coldest & driest.

It has magnifcient natural & historic wealth, expansive landscapes, defned seasons, distintive heritage, year round curling, wine trails & New Zealand's first Rail Trail.

Cromwell is currently celerbrating 150 years of gold discovery.
