Hi We are Lucas and Marisa, and have a 14 month old daughter. Marisa is a festival and theatre producer and Lucas is a landscape gardener. Marisa has a role as a producer with Darwin Festival so we are relocating to Darwin for 4 months from May - Sept 2012.

About our House: Our cabin is the ultimate country escape. Set in the hinterland of world famous Byron Bay you can live the country dream AND have amazing beaches on your doorstep. Ten minutes drive to Byron Bay which is famous for its laid back lifestyle, fabulous restuarunts and stunning beaches.

The cabin has a wrap around balcony with amazing uninterrupted views, it has two bedrooms and one bathroom, and a large open plan living room and kitchen with gorgeous high ceilings. We've decorated it in a cosy vintage style, it has doors off every room for beuatiful breezes in summer and a lovely pot belly fire for those cosy winter months.We have put in a tropical garden and planted native and rainforest trees so the block is private and filled with birds.

We have 6 chooks, and a fantastic vegge garden so you can eat free range organic eggs and veggies when you stay!Set on 6 acres this cabin is everyone's dream country escape.

There is a magnificent water hole just down the hill and some of the best beaches in the world down the road! Set half way between Byron Bay and the historic town of Bangalow you can choose between hanging out in great bars and surf culture in Byron or soaking up the collectible shops and country charm of Bangalow.

We have a 14 month old daughter and are looking for a place in Darwin from May - September 2012 and are open for people to swap for that whole period or part thereof. This cabin is perfect for kids to run outside and explore the outdoor life. Only 2 hours from Brisbane and 1 to coolangatta you can fly internationally or soak up some city culture too. We are very kid and pet friendly.

We would love to find a couple or small family who will cherish and adore our slice of paradise like we do!

Oue cabin on a ridge wuth sweeping views in every direction halfway between Bangalow and Byron Bay. World famous Byron bay is famous for its alternative lifestyle and stunning beaches. The most easterly point in Australia there are literally hundreds of beaches in this area, fantastic renowned restaurants, farmers markets, and collectible shops. It really is the best of both country and beach cultures! Heritage listed Bangalow is famous for great food, cute shops and fresh produce, where an active artistic community are always putting on live music, events, festivals etc. Famous festivals such as Blues fest and Splendour in the Grass are juts down the road and the music and arts scene is thriving. you can relax on the beach or great walks or dip into the charming country cottage lifestyle in the cute towns in the hills around Bangalow. Everything you could ever need is right here while you have the chance to unwind and live the dream country lifestyle
