We are a family of three, my wife, my 3 year old daughter and myself. We are in our early forties and work in professional roles. We are looking to exchange with someone for a period of 3-4 weeks from late June to early July of this year. Ideally we would like 3-4 weeks in Sydney and are open to offers. Realistically we would need a family orientated home in Sydney proper not central coast, etc. We have no special needs so steps, etc are fine but the home would need to be suitable for a small child.

Note we are happy to talk to individuals as well as families but the site obliges us define a "swap party" so we have settled on the standard mum and dad and two to three kids.

About our House: Our double story coastal home is nestled in the leafy inner city suburb of Seatoun (not Miramar as the Google map suggests), Wellington only 15 minutes from the CBD by car or 20-25 minutes by bus (2-3 minutes from front door).

Occupying 200sqm our home offers large carpeted upstairs living spaces, open plan kitchen and lounge plus well appointed dining room all with sea views over Wellington. Watch the ocean liners and ferries sail in and out of Wellington by day and by night. The property has a full deck with well maintained outdoor table and chairs plus full barbecue (with more ocean views).

We have three bedrooms available to use one with well appointed king size and two with queen size beds plus storage space including closets. Bathrooms are located upstairs and down with the upstairs bathroom including a full size bath.

ADDED BONUS: We are willing to let you have access to our holiday home in addition to our main residence in the town of Foxton which is approximately 2 hours by car from Wellington and 5 minutes by foot from the beach.

NOTE: Our home is not "wuthering heights" but there are some steps up to the house so this may not be ideal for the elderly and is not suitable for those who have limited mobility.

Wellington has a vibrant cafe and restaurant scene boasting more cafes per km than New York. Anyone into boating, fishing, diving or just relaxing will love this city. It has some lovely little beaches and nature walks with wonderful scenery.
