We are a family of 4, 1 girl aged 9 and boy aged 2. My husband runs a busy local hotel with excellent food and I am a naturopath. We are looking for a break from our fun but busy city life. We prefer warm beach destinations in particular byron bay as we were married there. We are quiet, respectful people and we will take good care of your house. We live in a very friendly neighbourhood and will be happy to help you with any directions or tips on the many attractions melbourne has to offer.

About our House: Beautiful art deco house in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. 3 bedrooms, bathroom with bath, separate toilet and laundry, large rear yard with a lovely garden. Bedroom 1 has a king size pillow top bed and a tv and dvd, bedroom 2 has a single bed and bedroom 3 has a single bed. The lounge has a new very comfy sofa as well as a large tv with dvd, wii and foxtel. The house has polished floorboards throughout and lots of toys and games for kids. The yard has a bbq, outdoor setting, trampoline, bikes and toys. There is a high chair, portacot and pram available for use.

Ivanhoe is a pretty suburb with fantastic local shops, parks and restaurants. The neighbourhood is very family friendly. The train station is a 10 minute walk and then a 10 minute trip to the city. There is also a bus at the end of our street that takes you to the popular suburbs such as northcote, fairfield, fitzroy north and carlton. There are lots of great walking tracks and bike paths around the neighbourhood as well as along the darebin creek.
