We are a professional couple 63 and 53 both working. Both our work places close down over the Christmas period for 2 weeks. We would like to exchange over the Christmas, New Year period for 2 weeks.

About our House: Our home is 8 years old and has a beautiful view of the surrounding farmland. We have two bedrooms with queen size beds and an en suite in the main. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. The second bathroom has a full length bath. We have a 6 burner BBQ under cover looking out across the farmland. We have reverse cycle ducted air conditioning for those warmer months.

Kingsthorpe is a small rural community 20 minutes from Toowoomba. Toowoomba has a population of over 100,000 people. It is the educational and shopping centre for the Darlings Downs. It is 1.5 hrs from Brisbane and the Gold Coast and 2.5 hrs to the Sunshine Coast. Toowoomba is famous for it's beautiful gardens.

There are many day trips out of Toowoomba into the surrounds;The Bunya Mountains National Park; Stanthorpe, a centre for stone fruit and boutique wineries; the Jondaryan Woolshed, Pioneer Village at Hampron and Museum for Australian Army Flying.
