We are a professional couple, doctor and visual artist, with a 6 month old baby, looking to spend some time in sdney now and then, time frames are negotiable, and there is the possibility of nonsimultaneous swap as our house would be available at christmas as well. We have house-exchanged in the past while overseas and found it a great experience.

About our House: The house backs onto bushland with walking tracks to the headland/cliffs (20minutes), and has some views of the ocean from the dining room and verandah. It has a large backyard with vege garden, pizza oven and covered area. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are kingsize beds in the main bedrooms, and a queen bed in another bedroom. There is an office which has a fold out couch. There is a main living area upstairs, and a smaller TV room downstairs. There is the option to feed 4 chickens (ie throw some pellets out once a day) if you would like the eggs, but this is not essential as they are in common space and a neighbour can care for them.

Currarong is a popular holiday beach side village, on the Beecroft peninsula of Jervis Bay, with many beaches some open for surfing and other protected beaches and rock pools - great for snorkeling. It has a fantastic fish shop (locally caught in the bay), a small general store, and a pub. There are many beautiful bush walks around the headland. Currarong is about a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, or a 3 hour train ride to Nowra and a 20 min car drive to Currarong.
