We are both retired. Our son and his wife live in Perth and we would like to spend some time (about 3 months) with them. They are coming this July/August so it would be after that.

About our House: Home is located slightly above the 4th fairway of Fairwinds golf course. The ocean with oysters clams and fishing is just minutes away. Swimming from a small bay in summer is a 10 minute walk. The Fairwinds Club House and Restaurant is a 5 minute walk. Golf is year round. An hour away is Mount Washington Ski resort and 2 hours away is the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island and Tofino and Ucluelet.

We live in a gofing community and most of our neibours are actively retired. The community is very friendl in that most have moved here from other parts of Canada and the USA. WE evean have a couple from Perth! There are miles of waking trails around the forest, lakes and golf course. We do have an electric golf cart for your use.
On the west coast of Vancouver Island there are whale watching tours and COLD water surfing. Victoria is 2 hours south by car and is known for its Englishness and gardens. It is the second largest city in British Columbia with mant tourist attractions..
Vancouver iseasilly accesible by car or passenger ferry and day trips are easily done. Nanaimo has live theatre and a great harbour to walk about.
Twentt minutes to the north is Qualicum which is unspoiled by chain stores, big box stores or franchise type shopping. It has manr antique stores and great resteraunts.
Vancouver Island is starting to be noticed for its manr organic farms and wineries.
