Profile: Couple - Completed House Swaps: 1
We are a couple in our sixties, retired and semi-retired. We enjoy living a fairly quiet, but busy life, down in the beautiful Far South Coast. Our interests include dragon-boating, involvement with a local co-operative gallery venture, the great movies provided by the local Narooma Kinema? and our friends, who like us are doing things to try to clean up our planet. We also like to visit Sydney regularly for Peter to work and to catch up with family and friends. We like to travel, in Australia and overseas. Our first house swap was with some people who had an appartment in Paris. It was great, and last year, we stayed with them on their coffee plantation in Colombia. We became good friends. We have a designated holiday house on our property, which is available for exchange, therefore, there is some flexibility with the exchange times. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SIMULTANEOUS.
Type: House, Bathrooms: 2, Bedrooms: 3, Sleeps: 7
About our House: Architect designed holiday accommodation with eco/energy efficient elements. All water/waste is recycled. Heating is passive solar and unbelievably effective. No need to chop wood or even turn on a heater. Sometimes it is necessary to open doors/windows to let in cool air.North facing rural views and sea views from property. Our sunny south coastal environment makes it an ideal get-away in winter.
The .house was built in 2003 to be our guest and paying guest accommodation, and from feed-back we receive it seems to fill the bill
