Teachers on sabbatical; we want to spend some time doing the 'grandparent' thing with our son and his family in Manly.

About our House: Terraced house at the end of a quiet road in Barnes with village pond and a range of shops and cafes; four minutes walk from the Thames and miles of walking along the towpaths; a walk, cycle or short drive to Richmond Park; close to railway station 22 minutes from Vauxhall and Waterloo, and to buses to Hammersmith and Richmond; many pubs and restaurants within walking distance, ranging from simple but excellent to really fancy. The house has four bedrooms, one used as a study; we would probably use one room as a store while we're away if it wasn't needed.
