Profile: Couple
We are a family of 5: 2 adults, (nurse and wildlife scientist) with 3 teenagers, (boy and 2 girls) working locally and attending local high school. We are a quiet family who take great care of our own home willing to do the same for anyone elses home. We are looking to have a great family holiday before our eldest son goes to university. We would love to spend 6-8 weeks in Europe over xmas 2010, living and learning. We are open to all destinations and timeframes within this period.

About our House: Country home on 7 acres 12 mins drive from Byron Bay and the best beach in Australia. Short walk to Bangalow village with cafes, restaurants, specialty shops, weekly produce market and monthly craft and goods market. Large garden and property is bordered by Byron Creek with swimming holes. Large screen tv (with Playstation 3), stereo and dishwasher. Big deck with BBQ overlooks rolling green hills and birdlife. Safe yard for children and dogs.

Bangalow is a charming small village with local markets and a lively cafe and restaurant scene. We're 12 minutes drive from Byron Bay which features some of Australia's best beaches for surfing, swimming and lazing about. Byron Bay features several cinemas, a great range of restaurants and clubs and is the base for all kinds of active pursuits including snorkelling and diving, surfing, ballooning, horse riding and so on. 1/2 hr drive to World Heritage rainforest and waterfalls. 45 mins from international airport, 1hr from Gold Coast, 2hrs from Brisbane on freeway.
