Our names are Peter & Trudie. We are a retired and well-travelled couple in our early 70's who enjoy taking advantage of the benefits of house-swapping. During our working lives we lived in the UK (Wiltshire) for 2 years and the US (Atlanta, Georgia) for 6 years. We have done a number of house swaps within Australia and long-term swaps in the UK and US. We maintain a neat & tidy apartment and can assure anyone who we swap with that we'll look after their home as if it was our own.

We have a contemporary 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment with 2 bathrooms (including en-suite in main bedroom).
Our apartment is part of the Regatta Waterfront Apartment resort-style complex overlooking Lake Kawana on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Our home is very easy to maintain and is ideal for retired couples who wish to swap. Our apartment is equipped with all modern appliances and has ducted air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

Our apartment is located on Lake Kawana with an abundance of nearby facilities, amenities and attractions. These include (keep scrolling down):
- Public Bus Stop immediately in front of the Regatta Apartment complex.
- 20 metres to Kawana Lakeside Walking Path with kilometres of walking and bicycle pathways.
- 150 metres to three Coffee Shops/Cafes.
- 200 metres to a Pharmacy/Chemist (and another Coffee Shop).
- 800 metres to Birtinya Shopping Centre (Coles, Aldi, speciality stores & dining).
- 3-minute drive (1.7 km) to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital & Health Precinct (which includes more cafes and coffee shops).
- 4-minute drive (1.8 km) to the Kawana Waters Farmers Market that is open every Saturday from 6:00 am to 12 noon.
- 5-minute drive (2.2 km) to the beach/Pacific Ocean.
- 8-minute drive (4.9 km) to the nearest major shopping centre: Kawana Shoppingworld (Woolworths, Coles, Big W, Aldi, etc. over 100 stores) & Cinemas.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Peter and Trudies home. They were very obligi g and friendly people to deal with. Their beautiful unit had everything we needed,in particular a great view,to the lake.For anyone who has not been there before we recommend Kawana Lake,as a quieter but excellent place to enjoy a holiday.We did not use a car,but bus was right outside gate,which was very handy also shops cafes in walking g distance. My family and I had the most fabulous stay at Peter and Trudie's lake side apartment on the Sunshine Coast. Their two-bedroom apartment looks over the lake and onto Sunshine Coast Stadium it is close to the beach and was Immaculately presented. The pool and Spa were terrific additions to our stay. The complex was quiet and peaceful with numerous Gyms and Coffee Shops a close walk away. A great central location to all areas of the Sunshine Coast. Trudie and Peter are beautiful people, they treated our home like their home and left it sparkling clean. They spoilt and cared for our dog during the stay. We would recommend them and the sunshine coast highly.
