The House

Ours is a weather-board family-type comfortable home. Built in the 1950's and since extended with a light and airy sunroom. Modernised kitchen and bathroom. Great back deck overlooking a private, bird-loving, sub-tropical garden.

The things we love about living here

Our part of Ashgrove is called St John's Wood, an inner-west suburb of Brisbane. This is a quiet suburb with just one way in and one way out, and is ten or fifteen minutes from the city by car. Good public transport is available.
Easy walks along the many park areas around Enoggera Creek.
We enjoy going to the theatre, museums and art galleries in the Southbank area - Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), Qld Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), State Library, Qld Museum, Qld Art Gallery etc., all of which are easily accessible and have good parking.
Plenty of supermarkets, other local businesses, chemists and cafes in our local area.
Easy access to hospitals and specialists for anyone seeking health care.
