Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Port Macquarie, Mid-North Coast NSW, NSW
We are a retired teacher and psychologist. We are inveterate travellers and really just old backpackers. A few years ago we spent six months in South America, also four months camping across the USA from San Fransisco to Washington DC and into Canada and, more recently we travelled 5 months in Eastern Europe and from there we travelled to Italy and also visiting Paris and Berlin. More recently, we spent six months on a house exchange in Biarritz and travelled in France, Morocco, Denmark Spain and Portugal. We have been also walked the Overland Track, the Larapinta Trail. Milford Track, and the Cape to Cape Trail in WA completing house exchanges after each walk. We love kayaking, walking, surfing, tennis and are ex -marathon runners. We love the theatre and reading and just about everything there is to do. Our philosophy is that we can do whatever we did in our 30s, though more slowly, So, we keep planning the next adventure.

Beautifully situated and private, bordering rainforest. Our home has two bedrooms, a sunroom and a study. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has two king size single beds and one single trundle bed. The sunroom has a double fold -out sofa. There is a full bathroom with bath. Our TV room is on the same level as the bedrooms Downstairs is open plan - kitchen, dining and another lounge room area. Bi-fold doors surround this area and open onto a very spacious deck.

Port Macquarie is a town of approximately 80,000 on the NSW mid-north coast . We live just a few minutes walk from spectacular Lighthouse Beach. Port Macquarie is a wonderful place for a vacation as we have several golf courses, great beaches and walkways, bird life is abundant, the geology is unusual and of course we have a variety of excellent cafes and restaurants as well as an interesting entertainment centre ( the Glasshouse) and art gallery. South West Rocks, Bellingen and Dorrigo are within driving distance and are great places to visit while Nambucca Heads, and to the south Myall Lakes, are also well worth a visit. Come and see Port Macquarie one of the gems on the east coast of Australia. Flight time from Sydney is 55 minutes.
