We are a family of 5 with 3 well behaved and well travelled teen/young adults, ages 16 and 19 and 21 who may not always travel with us. We are in search of great places to call home - destinations with great food, wine, surf or snow will always be top on our list! We have enjoyed over 25 successful home exchanges and look forward to many more! We treat every home just like our own. The 6th member of our family is our calm and well-behaved mini schnauzer who is low maintenance and would love to travel with us within NSW or remain at home if home swap guests are happy to have her company.

Gorgeous home in Sydney's North Shore close to train, city, shops, restaurants and beaches. Our home is a renovated Californian bungalow located in Roseville, a leafy suburb of character homes and big gardens, conveniently located to all Sydney has to offer. The hub of the home is the open plan kitchen family area which leads out to the large patio and backyard bathed in northerly sun. A spring-free trampoline, ping pong table, monkey bars and pool makes for a children's paradise! The master bedroom has a queen size bed with Tempur-pedic mattress, new bathroom, and 3 other bedrooms have queen/double and single beds. The house is fitted with reverse cycle ducted air con. We have multiple dining areas as well as formal lounge and dining rooms. Our home is on a 1200sqm block - plenty of room to spread out inside and out. The family room has a 65-inch ultra HD Smart TV, Foxtel cable TV & Netflix. Our kitchen is fitted with quality appliances, the keen chef will feel right at home cooking up a feast! You'll enjoy all the mod cons of a home away of home including fast wireless internet. Tennis courts, a chic cafe, sports oval and a playground are moments away. We have a well-behaved mini schnauzer who can go elsewhere during your stay unless you would like her company! Interested in exchanges with non-smoking families only.

Roseville is a family-friendly and safe neighbourhood just 12 km (7.5 miles) from Sydney city centre. The train station is easily accesible - less than 7 minutes walk from our home. We are approx 15 minutes drive to the city.
In the immediate neighbourhood of Roseville is a charming old art film cinema and a cluster of restaurants and cafes.
Chatswood (the North's commercial centre) is 2 minutes away, with up-market shopping centres, supermarkets, cinemas, theatre, a cosmopolitan food scene, spoilt for choice especially Asian cuisine, night markets at Chatswood Mall on Thursdays and Fridays during the warmer months. Lane Cove National Park is less than 5 mins away, where you can canoe, fish, bushwalk or ride bikes. A golf course is located in the next suburb.
Our house is perfectly located for exploring other attractions of Sydney and beyond - Taronga Zoo, Bondi/Manly/Palm Beaches, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley wineries and all that our beautiful harbour city has to offer.

Sophie was wonderfully accommodating given a last minute change of plans and left the house in impeccable condition. I would highly recommend her to house what with anybody at any time and wish her and her family all the best for the future.
