A lovely period style home with decorative ceilings, leadlight windows and traditional timber paneling. We have 3 bedrooms (2 with built-in wardrobes), kitchen/dining/living room, study, formal living room, bathroom, toilet and laundry. We also have ducted heating throughout and air-conditioning to the kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric wall oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher & microwave. We have a front and back garden with BBQ, a double garage with rear access.
Our home is a short walk to public transport, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cafes, Queen's Park, Moonee Valley Racecourse and Tabaret, library, local swimming pool and quite close to Tullamarine airport.

Moonee Ponds is located 7km from the central business district of Melbourne. It is well serviced with public transport, trams, trains and buses are a short walk from our home. Access to the freeway is close by, the Melbourne Airport and the city are both 15 minute drives from our home.
The famous Puckle Street shopping precinct, many cafes & restaurants are just about on our doorstep. Queen's Park including; heritage gardens, lake, playgrounds, cafe and swimming pool are located at the end of our street. Walking and cycling trails of the Maribrynong River are close by. We are also adjacent to the Bohemian suburb of Brunswick and the wonderful Royal Melbourne Zoo.
Major hospitals (Royal Melbourne, Royal Women's & the Royal Children's) and Melbourne University are within a 10 minute drive from our home.

Sharon and John were delightful people and we had a lovely stay in their beautiful Art Deco house in Moonee Ponds. We found the area close to transport and the shopping and restaurants in the area were great!
