Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Kuranda, Tablelands, QLD
Hi my name is Kiah, I am a single quiet woman who lives in the North Queensland tropical rainforest of Kuranda with my old dog. I am health and nature conscious, meditative, quiet ,and a non smoker. I work online assisting people with inner spiritual healing and journey work. I do a lot of writing and meditation. I am looking to swap anywhere really so that I can experience new places , in particular I’m looking at Sunshine Coast as my mother lives there in an apartment. My older doggie is well behaved and a non barker , he travels well and is not as excitable these days as he once was.☺️

My home is a rustic cabin in the rainforest with town water and electricity and gas. It is a high-set pole home made of western red cedar and lots of wood.
It is split level and there are no walls so it is really suited for one couple , but there are two detached cabins close to the house that are bedroom size. The main house is light and has good air flow with a beautiful deck overlooking the forest. There are no screens just nets. This is a true cabin experience in the rainforest and is not a 5 star apartment:). All doors can open completely up onto the deck to make a true treehouse experience.
There are two detached cabins close to the main house that are bedroom sized and furnished. An extra bathroom and a camp kitchen are under the house.
There is a fire pit area that is in a beautiful space
There is a fantastic array of birds, even cassowary. The house is on 2 acres with a small seasonal creek at the bottom through the rainforest. It is cosy, comfortable and peaceful for the nature loving. Not a party house but a beautiful spot for recharging in nature.
