Experienced house swappers in Australia, NZ & UK. We are both retired but are very active in the local community. We love the district for its friendly nature, history, the walking tracks into the Great Western Tiers and wonderful country lanes just made for cycling. Our house, which is in a cul de sac, is 7 years old and is very welcoming with spectacular views and a lovely garden. Walking distance to shops and cafes. We are also within easy drive of Cradle Mountain, Launceston, and Devonport with Hobart being just over 2 hours away by car. Looking to include cars in the swap - ours is a Subaru XV manual. We have done 13 swaps in total, and being very house proud, we will look after your home as if it were ours. Seeking a swap in the Bright/Beechworth area for 2 weeks. Also open to short swaps in Tasmania at any time.

A near new house with open plan living with picture windows focused on spectacular views of the Great Western Tiers including iconic Quamby Bluff.
We are in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the town boundary, with a 10 minute walk to the cafes and shops of Deloraine and a further 5 minutes to the beautiful Meander River.
Nearby are a wildlife park where you can touch Tasmanian Devils, Quolls and Wombats, Mole Creek Karst Park with wonderful caves, a food trail to explore (raspberries, chocolate, Ashgrove cheese, honey and salmon), a selection of walks and waterfalls from 15 minutes to 6 hours, and quirky little towns to explore.
We are also 30 minutes from Launceston and Devonport, 90 minutes to Cradle Mountain and 2 1/2 hours to Hobart.
House not suitable for children.
We do have 4 chooks, which live in a fenced section, with automatic feeder and an automatic door to the roost - that opens in the morning and closes at night. Collect fresh eggs and veggies from the garden, or we can arrange for someone to do that.
